Sources that Buy Commissions? - Posted by Richard Bowen

Thanks, Barry. It’s a commercial mortgage brokering commission for about $27,000. I’m familiar with 4 or 5 companies that buy real estate commissions for a discount, but only one or two of them will be buying mortgage commissions later on this year. None of them currently do. Strange. Richard

Hi!

I’m getting back in to the note brokering business after a 5-year hiatus. I’m currently working as a mortgage broker. Can anyone help me out with contact information for a source(s) that will buy a commission at discount?

If it isn’t too much trouble, please email me your reply at r_bowen@bellsouth.net

Thanks,
Richard Bowen

If I were doing this, I’d build a file showing the high quality of the debt/commission/note and then market it to an aggressive private investor smart enough to see the strengths of the deal.

The first note I bought was a 5th, and all I saw was the high yield, good equity and good credit…I made 25% annual yield on that one and yearned for more just like it.

How many “institutional” note buyers would have bought that one?
