starting in Nevada - Posted by Kelvin Walker

I just finished DOW and Making Money With Mobile Homes. I will be moving to Nevada soon and I am hoping to make a living in the mobile home business with “Lonnie Deals”. I had a very discouraging conversation with a worker in the Nevada Department of Business and Industry. Can anyone doing this business in Nevada answer the following questions:
Do I need a dealer’s license to operate?
Do I really need to park $25,000(that I don’t have) in a state escrow account to do mobile home business in Nevada?
Please help

NRS 489.076 seems to define what we do as being a dealer.
NRS 489.341 gives the requirements for the license.
However, you should review the thread that begins with this post by Lonnie:

Very interesting, many viewpoints. Make your own decision.
