Stupid question, regarding posting - Posted by David Alexander

David,

Try not using the “Enter” key (or “return” key) until after you have finished a paragraph . . . and then hit the key twice.

There seems to be no relationship between the box we write in and the actual completed post. I think this is a Word wrap feature (unless you hit the “Enter” key before the paragraph is done).

Good luck,

Brad

It seems that whenever I type and post anything on the board or for a response, the lines never come out ven(Justified),
even though I am typing evenly in the box from side to side.
I know it’s stupid but, it’s been bugging me because some posts are perfectly even. Just a wierd quirk that has been
bugging me every time I post. I know it’s no big deal, and everyone will be laughin at me when they read this, just want to find out if it’s me or what?

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one with this problem.
I’ve been thinking for months that I’m doing something wrong!

Me too. I’ve tried writing into the margins without
“enter” but all my posts come out only left justified
and therefore longer.
Hint: I learned to guage the length of a post, and
when I print, I choose print page one to page one. Otherwise,I get pages of “followup” format that are empty.you don’t want to know how long it took me to figure that one out.

David,

The only stupid questions are the ones never asked. Nobody is an expert in everything, the only dummies are the ones that ‘knows it all’ and never asks.

Have a Happy New Year my friend,
Millie I.
