I still think “subject to” deals are the quickest way to make money in real estate today.

Best way to buy today: private money. Find individuals that will loan against well bought property. By being able to offer cash, you can buy cheaper than subject to, plus no risk of due on sale… Deals are cleaner all the way around. Plus, done right, you can buy REOs, short sales, and FSBO; subject to limits your options more.
