Success with Ameriquest on short sale? - Posted by JT-IN

Anyone had any success in dealing with Ameriquest on short sale proposals…? This loan is serviced by Litton Loan Servicing for Ameriquest, based on what I am told by the homeowner, but haven’t verified any of the details as of yet.

Curious in advance if AmerQst has coop’d on shorts…? If so, what were the details of the deal…?

Thanks for info.

JT,

Call me tomorrow. We did one a few months ago with Ameriquest and we’ve dealt with Litton successfully also.

I’ve done a couple with Ameriquest directly…they are great to deal with.

Litton loan servicing is a little difficult though, they have a “by the book” process to follow and are just another middle man. I’ve always found servicing companies less cooperative in getting shorts done.

They say they only follow the investor’s instructions, but I dont think so.

The BPO is key here…

Luke,
I’m kinda new at s.s. Do you have to go thru the loan servicing co. or is it possible to deal directly the lender?
