My Surety bond is from SureTec Insurance Company, 952 Echo Lane, Suite 450, Houston, Texas 77024. It cost $2,000. I had an independent insurance agent look into different policies (Texas requires $50,000) and they were all the same - 2% of the face value of the bond.
Good luck in finding one. Also the process for getting one is fairly complex, you need a business plan.
I am doing research on a surety bond that is required to apply for a Mobile Home Retailers liences. I am finding the cost to be quite high and extremely varied between companies. Can anyone give me the name of a resonable priced company to apply with?
