Brandi and Bob, If you’re near or in San Antonio, let’s meet. I am interested in a San Antonio investment club. I couldn’t find one in February. So, I joined RICH (Real Estate Investment Club of Houston). It’s a six hour trip. But, the club is 500 strong, active, and the members really support one another. At this month’s meeting, our keynote speaker was a CPA. He’s based in Texas. I thought his presentation was sound. He’s devised a supplement to Quick Books that’s designed for investors. Feel free to email me for his contact info.

OH!MAN! now I’ve done it! I’m in trouble at my J.O.B.,
so I got suspended. 3 days to REI Fulltime!
Hopefully from now on!

I don’t FEEL it’s time to take the plunge but I
want to SOOOOO BAD, I love REI!! But I never get to
put more than an hour or two per day and I don’t
get to see many properties, UNTILL TODAY !!

All day I called on leads that I have been trying
to get to for a long time, got organized, called on
more leads, looked at a property, (Got 4 lined up
to see tomorow) I even got time to prepare for more
calls tommorow in between showings! WOW! I was
loving every minute of it (Didn’t think about work,
not even once, untill I ran into a work mate while I
was out “Hunting” Man was he tired HeHeHe!)

But REI freinds I still must admit I’m, I don’t
know,…UNSURE, I’m unsure that I will bust this
thing open.I’ve never tried full time REI with no
other income. Any words for the newbie? All I can
do is WORK AT IT and I will, but I hope thats all
it take cause that’s all I have. Any way this was
a great day to be alive !!! Thanks for being here!

See ya tommorrow! Bye for now Dave(Mi)

Dave-
Congratulations!!
I am truly thankful to have lost my job a couple of years ago and, after 6 months of agonizing over a job search, chose to pursue real estate as my new business endeavor. Sometimes blessings come disguised.
Work hard and keep track of what the “creative” part of “Creonline” is all about…hard work-yes, discipline- yes, but creativity…absolutely!!
One of the truly unique aspects to this business is that with a commitment to work, learning, creativity and discipline it doesn’t take long before you become an “expert” at real estate…so few people know much of anything about selling or buying a house.
Anyway…congratulations and best of fortunes.
Bob

San Antonio? Right? - Posted by Brandi_TX

Bob,

I am in New Braunfels, and if I remember correctly, you are in San Antonio. Do you know of a REI Club there? I have no problems going to the one in Austin, but for some reason I am much more at home in San Antonio.

Thanks in advance,
Brandi

Brandi,
In an earlier post you mentioned that you had heard of Texas resident using a good CPA in OKC. Could you e-mail me with his name?
I am in Norman (OKC Metro), and could possibly use a little help.
Ironically, my CPA/Attorney brother is in Dallas and can’t helpe as much as I’d like!
Thanks
