they are a different take. You don’t have the institutional “suits” at the deed sales because they’re looking for interest only not deeds to the properties. The lein guys like the finest properties with the biggest mortgages, since there’s much better odds of redemption. If you’re trafficing in tax DEEDS then you want property that is LEAST likely to be redeemed. That’s the vacant, ragged, overgrown, abandoned, and trashed places. sometimes the trash even scares away the banks.

I just spoke with the treasurer in Kelso WA. they have tax sales which are actually after the 3 year redemption period. It is the real property not a certificate. Not exactly what I was hoping for. Anyone have ideas on how to by tlc’s via mail in other states ?
