i need the forums help with a family issue. Currently my uncle has a 50k tax lien to the IRS. He would like to own a house without paying the full 50k. What options does he have to purchasing a house?

Find out if it really a lien. I have heard that often times the IRS only files an INTENT to lien. Not the lien itself. And that a good lawyer who knows this can sometimes greatly reduce the liability.
