As far as I know as long as you have a federal ID number or a social security number you can buy liens in the US. However, due diligence is an integral part of this business and would be quite difficult to do
from a distance. I buy in NJ and have someone physically look at everything I buy, its difficult but in five years I have yet to get burned.
I live in New Zealand and am interested in the Real Estate Tax liens. I would like to know if it is possible to obtain real estate tax liens from outside the US if not a US citizen. Also is a Company able to do this? Any information would be greatly appreciated.Thanks
