Im wondering how the taxes are calculated with rental properties. I think it is confusing. Are the taxes caculated based on the profits that are made from a property?? or is the total amount collected taxed Ex.(rent payment is $600. is the $600 a month taxed?? or is the passive income of $100 taxed.) are there any other major taxes involved in buying multiple properties besides real esate tax??
