I have seen it done with a class of newbie investors.

I also expect that if you are more visible and more active networking it will lead to deals. Maybe not from agents in the class but it does not matter that much. A deal is a deal.

Real Estate Teachers,

I would be interested to find out if anybody has been successful finding deals through their students.

I?m considering teaching real estate classes to agents. The basic principles class and various continuing education classes for department of real estate credit would be the focus.

The primary objective would be finding investment deals, not the money earned from teaching since that would be very little.

Thanks,
Dave

PS. My email for some reason was not accepted. Just replace the word ‘dot’ with a ‘.’ to get the correct email address.

It is an excellent resource - at least in the area of mortgage investment and hard money lending. We’ve used three different continuing education courses as a networking tool and it has had great results. I love the idea of them paying me to teach them why to bring me deals.
