I don’t know anything about agricultural land, but I would make the sale contingent upon getting permission to build and apply for a permit before any money changed hands.

Could anyone give me some advice on putting a modular on a piece of agricultural land. I am still looking for land. How do I find it? What do I do when I find a seller that will sell me a small section (1/2 acre) of his/her ranch (Get it subdivided/in the books/ permitted…?)?

Any other tips?
