Prices start from about $50 on up into the hundreds. Most of it can be done within a few minutes by a computer. It pays to have a professional do the search unless you really know what you are doing. It’s easy for someone inexperienced to miss something or misinterpret the law.

I make it a point when considering important services, such a medical care or legal advice… to rarely, if ever… to seek the lowest bidder. In the case of title work, I want the guy/gal who rendered the opinion, to be around if and when a problem develops. It is typical of the low bidders to be long gone, rolled up and blown away, months or years down the road. Nuff said…
