You must get anything that will be recorded notarized–liek the deed and the trust agreement. After that, it’s just not necessary, but many here do it just so no one can squawk later.

That is the question!

Do we need to have the purchase and sales agreeement notorized? I know that the Trust Agreement and Assignment must be notorized, but the sales agreement?

Is there mixed views on this or is there a standard answer for it?

Dew is correct by way of notarizing in order to record but you do not have to record a trust agreement (I would have this notarized to have validity),Assigment agreement or a sales contract.If you have any concern about the seller not holding his end of the contract it would be wise to notarize and record a memorandum of agreement.
