We have tried letters, trifolds, and postcards to solicit note sellers and referral sources.

My own experience is that tri fold mailers are the worst. They look like junk, and are seldom read. We have had poor response.

Our best response is a long personal letter…followed by monthly postcards. The PC should have picture of you or someone, and be provocative enough to get them to call you for a brochure that explains what you do and how you can solve their problem in detail.

That’s what we do and we buy 5 - 10 notes a month and have been doing so for a long time.

Best of luck

Tri-fold mailers? - Posted by Serrow

I was wondering if anyone out there had experience using tri-fold mailers. It seems we hear a lot about $.21 postcards, $.34 letters but I cannot find many people using tri-folds.

I have not been able to even track down the postal rate for this. I can see the advantages being that the materials might be cheaper and because one would not need 100# stock, it may fit in standard printers better. Just a thought.

anyone out there use them to get better advertising bang for the buck?
