I have gone to that site and get the run around there also . I think what they want is to have you let the house go back or owe them for the rest of your life .

I have had a low interest loan since 1982 . I would like to refinance but the interest subsity will kill me . Any way around this . The non adjustable interest rate for thirty years is 13.75% . My pay off is $36,000 , My interest subsity pay off is $79,000 , home value is about $57,000 .

I’m curious. What does the govenment expect you to do if you sell the property at market value? Sounds like a pretty screwy program to me.
