up to now we have purchased investment property in our local area. unfortunately the market is at the high end and deals are hard to come by. we are looking at greener pastures to get more bang for our buck and are looking at mid-size apartment buildings. we live outside new orleans and although we are always looking in the city, louisiana in general is in a sad state of affairs. my question is has anyone invested with success out of state and if so what demographic info was used to determine a good area? did you give more weight to some factors over others ? thanks in advance
