Using your own name has it’s ups and down’s, if your company ever goes through a law suit, would you then what your name in it?

Is it bad to use your own name for your corp? Like…“Smith Investment Group, Inc”…or…“Smith Property Management, Inc”

You would not be able to pass it off that you just work for the company (to your tenants and tenant/buyers).
