The only way to get the owner to waive his redemption is to get him to quitclaim the property to you so that YOU have his right of redemption.

In Michigan, we have a 6 months right of redemption from the date of foreclosure for the foreclosed owner to take back the property by bringing all liens current. If that owner has no interest in redeeming said property, can I obtain from them a waiver of their right of redemption so that I can take possession of the property and flip in a time span shorter than 6 months? Please help.
