Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have,
and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful
lest you let other people spend it for you.
–Carl Sandburg

In the long run we shape our lives and we shape ourselves.
The process never ends until we die. And the choices we
make are ultimately our own responsibility.
Eleanor Roosevelt

In other words, get your behind in gear! How long do you want to be stuck in that job letting others run your life and time?

Here is a quote I coined. - Posted by Tim Jensen

Matt,

When I first got married, my wife was not used to my work. She had always had family memebers do the 9-5 thing. So this real estate investing was difficult for her to deal with.

Anyways, one day I was telling her how I was going to buy a house and she started going on how we shouldn’t buy that place until we had this other rented. She continued to tell me that she was a bit uncomfortable and that we needed more money in the bank account (even though we had plenty).

While listening to her go on about how we have to be careful and not take any chances (ie-doing anything outside the norm) this phrase came to me. I looked at her and said:

“Beth, how are we going to score any points in life if we are always playing defense”

Bottom line, if you don’t take any chances then don’t expectany rewards.

Tim
