We are at the beggining of a huge demand for new apartment construction and senior assistant living facilities. With that in mind those that really want to take the plunge or those who already have apartments and need to refinance for expansion or rehabilitation should really consider options for taking advantage of this trend. Besides the high cost of housing which is prohibiting many from buying homes there is a shortage of afforable rental housing.Baby boomers will start retiring in 2010 and besides the need for housing for this group people are living longer which is making the need for assistant living facilities and nursing home paramount.There is a program right now for new construction and refinancing of apartments and nursing homes, in additin to assistant living facilities.The underwriters of this program are very aggressive and will be willing to look at all inquiries for assistance with projects of $1,000,000 and up. There are guidelines, however any request that looks reasonable will be considered.For anyone who would like an overview I will gladly fax you a copy of prelimenary terms.
