I found a very nice and clean 1988 Mobile home for $7500.
The original price was $12000. The price is good and but I have to move it to a park which will probably cost me $1000 and plus $100 - $150 for lot rent. Does this seem like a good deal to you guys? This would be my first deal and I am a little nervous. The place has is new floors and central air. Please give me some advice. Thanks.

Tim,
You must include your set-up costs for your home once you move it to the new location. Analyze them carefully because they can be very substantial. The price you pay for the home is not nearly as important as knowing what you can sell it for. For your first deal, I recommend you find a home that can be sold where it is. Once you get the feeling for the real costs of moving them and setting them up in other parks you will be less apt at making a costly mistake.
