What does "Corporate addendums on all offers" mean on an MLS sheet?? - Posted by ScottE

It means that whoever owned that home got transferred to another city & the company that he works for bought his house & now the company owns the home. That particular company has their own documents that they need to have signed in addition to the purchase agreement. All pretty much standard stuff, but do read the documents carefully to see what they say.

I have seen this several times in the comment section of the MLS sheet particularly on REO properties.

Thanks!

I have found that this usually means the property is a bank owned property usually acquired through foreclosure. Some of the best ones for flipping and low offers usually have this addendum. The addendums are usually just an “as-is” disclosure and some other non-essential things. Usually when you are offering on these types of houses, it is as-is anyway.

Hope this helps,

John
