Search to see if your county has it online. Or find a local company that provides this service. If that doesn’t work you can go to the courthouse yourself. This will get you a few day head start if you learn how to search through public information. I believe a local county here in FL is 7 days behind from when the documents are recorded and when they become available for the information gatherers (list provider services). That’s a big head start if you’re trying to get to a seller first.

Can anybody recommend a foreclosure web site?? There are some web sites that provide lists of foreclosures. You subscribe to it for a fee, but there is not a way for me to compare the service before I decide which I will subscribe to.

Thanks,
Lazaro
