A free source to check where these gurus(Wayne Phillips) who promote govt programs get their info and resell it with their name is The Catalog Of Federal Domestic Assistance at http://www.cfda.gov/. It is searchable and viewable for free at that site and can be found at the reference section of your local library if you want to read a hard copy.
If you have any problems locating info, a free call to the government at 1-800-688-9889 or http://fic.info.gov/ will get you on track.
Most of these federal programs are administered locally by your city/county housing or community development departments. Give them a call for free information. They can be found in the government pages of your phone book.
One last place that comes to mind with a lot of free or low cost federal info is the Consumer Information Center at http://www.pueblo.gsa.gov/
Robert Allen was the author of the extremely popular Nothing Down series of books. I know he had tax trouble, and John Reed said he confessed that the deals he did for a LA Times challenge were not all they appeared to be.
Wayne Phillips’ claim to fame was using government programs to get real estate. The FTC was after him.

I am looking for a tape set called Creating wealth with government loans. Do you know if it is available and how much it sells for. There are eight audio cassettes in a clam shell case. Thanks.

I do believe that you can connect to Robert Allen’s site with the url: http://www.financialliberty.com/
Also, he has some tapes for sale at Nightengale-Conant on multiple streams of income. As the saying goes, you can’t keep a good man down.
I have no idea what happened to Wayne Phillips, drummer turned real estate - whatever. I guess the same saying applies here (only in reverse).
