Most of us with RE licenses for any length of time would probably agree, it’s an asset more than liability.

In your situation, you might find that BUYER for your builder’s houses, who has something he needs to SELL, and you might get the listing on that property, if your builder has no objectios.

In disclosing that I’m licensed, I’ve never known it to be any kind of factor in my personal property acquisition or selling.

I am a licensed real estate professional however I work for a builder and do not benefit from commissions through my license. The license allows me to list new builds for the builder and that’s it. I am wondering if I should put my license on inactive status as I am pursuing investing. Legally, would it be better if I were inactive? I am concerned about disclosure of being licensed and if that would effect my investing deals.
