You tell them that your mother is a RE agent. Simple and to the point. Truthful even!
Surely if mom’s an agent you have access to the MLS so it doesn’t need to be specifically said.
You can also point out that you’re not USING your mother and you’re going to use THEM directly. This means more $$ for the listing agent so technically they should be much more interested.
