What we are talking about here is turnover.

Although general convention is you don’t want to have any turnover, under the right program, hourly turnover can be very renumerative. But you have to have a lot of other things going for you (and people in your pocket, on your payroll). Just kidding. Really!

What’s Better…Monthly or Weekly? - Posted by JP

Hello,

When renting out a unit to tenant(s), what’s better…to receive monthly payments or weekly? I do realize that after a full year, weekly payments actually add up to more money than 12 monthly pymts.

I’m unclear though in a couple of area’s:

1.Do I need to be careful as to how the newspaper ad reads? Do I need to specify the monthly rate or wkly rate?
2.On how to structure this appropriately in a lease.

Has anyone done this? Any stories…good/bad?
Any pitfalls to this?
Any gotch-ya’s?

Any help is appreciated.

Happy investing!

Best Regards,
