This is an easy one. Find someone in your area who does resurfacing of ceramic tile. They must first acid etch, clean existing grout, regrout, put down a primer and refinish with a good acrylic finish. This stuff is guaranteed for life if done properly. Make sure you get a list of former customers, and CALL THEM. I have had many done and even after 5 years the surface cannot be scratched.

I have a kitchen counter with tiles, about 30 years old. The tiles actually look very good for 30 years old. The color is good and the condition is good, except two of the tiles have little chips. What do you guys and gals do when you need a tile or two, which you cannot buy from Home Depot any longer?

There is ceramic paint, which I would use for touch-ups if the chips aren’t too large.

The original post referred to counter tiles.
