To find a few hard money lenders, spend a few days networking. Conventional ‘subprime’ sources may refer you to a HML for deals that they can’t handle.

I understand that a hard money loan is based on LTV and typically has a higher interest rate than a conventional loan. I need to know where to find these loans. Are there banking institutions that lend this money or is it simply private investors?
