Hi Lesley, yes lots of investors mail postcards to find motivated sellers. You can easily create them yourselve. LeGrand (and I’m sure MANY other R.E. courses) talks about how/what things to say in the card–that’s a whole course in itself.

Keep in mind that the seller’s reading your postcard will be asking themselves “what’s in it for me” (ie: sell quickly for cash, no repairs, no fees, no hype…etc)

You can print them yourself (Office Depot sells postcards that can be printed through laser printer) and mail. Test, test, test to see what headlines ‘pull’ the best in your target area.

do I create them myself-postcards. I’ve read Jackie Lange’s how to article on quick flips and she talks about sending out postcard mailers to possible prospects. What are these? Are they universal in real estate or just one person’s technique?
