It is pretty good here. I’m in Baltimore. Ya know, I think the diversity in such a small area has been helpful. At the most, it’s a 30 minute drive to a whole different set of standards, economy, ethnicity, and property appreciation rates in any direction. Although I’m not excited to have competition, I do believe that there are enough here for all that try.

Maybe I’ll run into you.

With potential appreciation, rent rate, and neighborhood in general?

where are you buying the rental properties?

I haven’t bought any property in DC. I was considering it. I am very interested in Baltimore more than anything.
I was thinking that the northeast would be a good place to start. Forget NW-georgetown area. WHo has 1 million dollars to buy rental property and generate negative cashflow?
My friend bought her town home in NE near the children’s hospital for around $100,000 2 yrs ago. With like $200 down because of the DC incentive program. It recently appraised for $178,000!!! That’s appreciation for you!
