C’mon help me out here! Are wholesale contracts suppose to be recorded, filed with the Recorder Of Deeds Office? Also I’m having great difficulty finding an attorney who will work with wholesalers ,here in Chicago. Can someone out there help me with these issues?

I wouldn’t record the actual contract. You don’t want the terms of your deal to be a matter of public record. You might consider recording some sort of memorandum of sale. I don’t do this, but it sounds like a prudent idea.
