I am about to start wholesaling and I have a couple of questions: 1)I was wondering if the only way to find “cash buyers” is going to real estate club meetings in my area? Is there another way to find “real” cash buyers other than this way? 2) Also, is there any value in working with a real estate agent when wholesaling? If so, what is that value? Thanks for your replies.

You’re not about to start wholesaling if you’re asking those questions. You’re thinking about starting.

  1. No but it’s a very good way. Advertise among others.
  2. Not really. Realtors tend to handle RETAIL deals and you want to do wholesale. They will also remove 6-7% of the profit in the deal. However, cultivating a relationship with a realtor that can bring you more deals than you can find yourself might be worthwhile.
