Got the cash. Now, before I go trading it in for a handful of worthless magic beans, I’d like to explore the private lending world. Only problem is that the instruction manual wasn’t included with the cash somehow. Does anyone have a copy I can borrow?

Seriously, how does one learn HML; caveats, terms, roi, good vs bad?

Thanks.

Are you looking to learn how to lend out your money or are you interested in having someone lend it out for you at a high rate of return?

Either way I may be of assistance to you. Please contact me at steve_o27@yahoo.com.

Thanks,
Steve

Discounted paper is interesting. Maybe you should check it out.

. . . is you probably won’t be willing to put it out for the same terms you wanted back in the day when you needed HML yourself

Congrats on having a chunk of cash to play with. The world of lending is much more boring than the world of deals. Chances are you’ll tire of it. Until then, the trick is to reconcile your greed glands with what the market will bear. You, to a certain extent, make the rules. Just be sure what you do is correct for your state.

All the best. . .

What state are you in?

First thing to do is lean the lending laws of the state that you are in.
