Why rising interest rates will be the biggest.... - Posted by Christian

Let me take a guess. When interest rates rise, it will be less attractive for people to buy a house due to the higher payments. The pool of qualified buyers will shrink. This will mean:

  1. It will turn into a buyer’s market. Sellers will be more willing to owner-finance, or sign over the deed to get their houses sold.

  2. Since it will be harder to qualify for a bank loan, more home buyers will be looking for owner financing or lease options in order to get into a house.

Which means, investors can buy from sellers with little to nothing down, owner financed or subject-to, and sell to buyers, owner financed or L/O, at favorable terms.

That is, if you believe interest rates are going to rise substantially any time soon. I don’t think so, personally.

I got this email talking about a seminar that will tell me

"Why rising interest rates will be the biggest opportunity to face property investors in the last 10 years and what you have to do to cash in on the action. "

Anyone got any clues on what this person is talking about?
