Wisconsin redemption period? - Posted by Mike

Thanks Bill, my banker said there was none & I thought that sounded odd. Too bad for me, I have my house sold, (tentative tho). I need a plan B in place by the time of the sheriffs sale, in case the 2nd shows up & boosts things out of my range so he can get some $$. This is a bit stressfull but I think i like it.

Varies from 2 months for an abandoned property to 12 months. If the lender waives the option of obtaining (or seeing) a deficiency judgment against the mortgagor, then the redemption period (in Wisconsin) is reduced to six months.
