Ed, I live in southeast Kansas and I’ve been reading this board for the last couple of months. I read your comment about the importance of having a working line of credit at a local bank. I’ve been working on my business plan, and about have it completed. Can I get your fax number, and send you a copy of my business plan to go over, so I can see what I need to improve on. In the last three years, I’ve bought 5 rental houses, 4 duplexes, and 1 fourplex.
I’ve bought most of these through a local bank here. I’ve also had equity lines of credit. I’ve already formed an LLC. I would like to buy or build larger multi-family properties, but I need a working line of credit for more downpayment money. People in this area say banks around here won’t do unsecured lines of credit, but I would like to present a good business plan and prove them wrong.
