Writing a letter to the owner of a Pre-Foreclosure - Posted by Jim C

Question. Did you pay for this compiled list? If so…then many others did too! And how many of them will send letters?

Forget the letters! Think about what you will say when you knock on their door! And do not be surprised if they have already spoken to someone ELSE in person.

The people who work the foreclosures(at least here in the NYC market) are extreme professionals that have their own people researching the foreclosures and do not waste time/money with the “list” companies.

Throw away the first 10 on the list. Whether you think it is good for rehab or not. Approach them with an “I don’t care what happens, I don’t want the deal, I will survive attitude”.

I recently got a list of Pre-Foreclosures in my area. I drove by them to check them out and a couple of them look like they would be a good rehab project. I would like to get in touch with the owner to see if they would be interested in selling.

I am thinking about writing a letter to them. What should I say in the letter?

Thanks!!!
