I am thinking of making a park on a piece of land that is zoned AR (agricultural recreation). This zoning allows campsites and would have to obey the regulations of campsites/mobile home parks. Does this mean that a mobile home park would be allowed on this land as well?

90% of the time you can get the answers there… if not, you’ll have to visit your zoning department in person.
The goal here is to referance the code that defines the uses for that designation (AR)… that’s where your answers are.
If if makes no specific mention of mobile homes, manufactured homes or modular homes… then you’d have to have it rezoned to whatever designation allows them.
Worse case… it’ll be a couple of years before you break ground… if at all.
