There are apartment complexes and other ‘accommodations’ that rent on a month-to-month. Let them investigate that.


Two months could very well turn into four. They may decide they don’t WANT to pay that extra money to you after all. More wear and tear on your rental unit. All kinds of things could happen.

Hi everyone,

A rental of mine came up for rent recently. A family husband/wife, two children wanted it. But they wanted their parents to live in the house too, temporarily. I think temporarily should be 2 months maximum, while the parents house is being remodeled. What do you think? After two months I plan on charging them an extra $50/month.

Nope. More people equal more problems. Equal more repairs. Equals less PROFIT. The smaller the family, the better. PERIOD.
