There was an article in today’s New York Times (page B1) about how MHPs getting sold to developers are squeezing out some of the last affordable housing in the NYC area. It covers how MHP residents have become younger, better-educated and higher income over the past 15 years.
Interesting trivia fact: there is a MHP within the NYC city limits!
Goethals Garden Homes Community is on Staten Island, near the Goethals Bridge. It has 130 spaces.

That’s hilarious. I started this business when I was in NYC, and I used to make four-hour drives to Jersey and back because I didn’t think there were any parks in NYC.
I wasn’t getting anywhere like that, so I eventually moved to Pennsylvania to do the business.
I guess I should have looked a little harder.
