Does anyone know where or how I can get free appreciation rates in Atlanta? There has to be a better way!

I’d get with a good agent and break it down by zipcode/area. They can give you month by month graphs of days on market, sales price/verses what was the opening price. Of course the data is only for houses sold through MLS/FMLS.

Some areas of Atlanta have double digit growth, some single, several negative. I was one of the first to buy into an area that has great growth potential but now everything is frozen by local community who are in an uproar over the fear of their property taxes going up (currently they are grandfathered in at ZERO dollars a year and they STILL don’t want new development).
