i understand that the government has grants,low interest loans and subsidies for just about anything dealing with real estate.
i am just learning about this and have been told that the library is an excellent place to get the info; but make sure you tell them what you want so that they can direct you in the right direction.
also i hope you or the person has time other wise sell the property on a rent to own basis and use the option payment to settle the debt and that way you keep your equity and can make a bundle.

Know of any assistance programs that help people avoid foreclosure or people that are in foreclosure?
Is anyone aware of the programs offered by either indiviuals, non-profit charities, or government agencies that want to assist homeowner in ways such as:
*non-interest bearing loans
*cash back programs for avoiding forclosure
*experienced negotiators that work on behalf of the homeowner
*equity protection programs to save a home owner’s equity in the house
I truly appreciate all of the knowledge I receive from this site and as I become more seasoned in this business I will be a strong contributor as many of you are.
