There have not been NQA mortgages for FHA or VA insured loans since the late 80’s. Conventional were even before that. Ownerfinanced is another question and can be anything. You, your corp. or your cat with a SSN could qualify and assume by paying a small fee. Since most mortgages of that type are older there is usually substantial equity also. Getting that taken care of is another whole world.

Does anyone know anything about non-qualifying assumable morgages. If so how do they work exactly? Any responses will be greatly appreciated.
