Hello everyone, I was wondering what is the best way to become a loan officer. I have no experience but am very eager to learn. Working as an IT Manager I have plenty of time during the day to research the products available. I also have the flexibility to meet people during the day and so forth. I just really want to know what is the best way to start. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

One idea is to go work for a Mortgage Broker. Their always taking applications for entry level Loan Officers, and some of them have great “on-the-job training”, benefits, provide leads, and mentorship.
