Blank Contract for Deed Needed - Posted by Wayne (MD)

I’m selling. I did find one on the net and also Office Depot reports they have some so I’m going over to check them out. Lawyer is probably the best way to go, however. And yes, I knew the contract must be recorded and I thank you for the reminder. It’s been a while since I sold a property on contract. Last time was 1978, in California, so I’m understandably a little rusty and plenty ignorant!

Help – I need a blank land installment sale contract (aka contract for deed, conditional sales contract, etc.) that is legal in the state of Maryland. I checked out Bronchick’s site and the only one he has for sale is not legal in Maryland and there is no such little animal in the Lease Option kit I bought from him while back. I imagine I can check out a few stationers’ stores and will try Google on the web, but I would trust something coming from another RE person from this site.

Thanks,

Wayne Carpenter

Hi Wayne,

You don’t mention if you are buying or selling, SO:

Please be aware that a CFD must be recorded in MD to be enforceable. Make sure you are protected!

you may want to hire a real estate attorney to get it correct.
