You and I can’t find houses for 25,000 like in the books, Or even lots. I have found “the learning annex” to be a help. It is local in L.A. and San Diego. On the WEB or by phone. Some locals teach for cheap$35.00 They will understand you situation

I’m relatively new in the real estate scene, and anxious to learn more. I’ve bought a bundle of different books from my local bookstore, and almost inevitably, somewhere in the book I find a disclaimer that reads something to the effect of “These methods may not work as well in areas where real estate value is disproportionally high (CA, NY etc) in comparison to the rest of the country.” …I live in Los Angeles.

Any reccommendations for books or courses that deal specifically with areas like the above mentioned? I was thinking about Steve Cook, AD Kessler, and Lou Vukas, but it seems none of them are from the area. Suggestions?

Thanks
