John,thank you for the quick response.I searched yahoo with “hp 48 gx” and came back with several of these mega sites specifically for the hp48gx and there were 100’s of programs, downloads and upgrades.The owners manual on the hp48gx is as thick as a LA county phone book.I think ill sit here for awhile,I couldnt put a price on the wealth of knowledge in this group and the CREO neiborhood.Ive been here a couple of months now and in my humble opinion the thing that sets you and this site apart from the others is old fashioned values and ethics and wisdom beyond the note business,truely what mentors are made of.

does anyone use the hp48gx? can it be programmed for discounting cashflows,or would it be better to get one of the more (commonly used models) for a begginer?
